Sunday past was sunny and hot, sticky-humid. The kind of day you feel sluggish and don't want to do anything.
So, of course Hubby and I just had to don our armoured leather jackets, leather gloves, full face helmets, and sturdy riding boots - Holy cow, talk about melting!
Hubby drives an impressively sleek looking 250 Kawasaki Ninja and my ride is a beautiful Yamaha Vino 125.
(motorcyle tab has more info about my bikes.)
We headed out to the country roads (which thankfully are close to our home) and just rode. It was glorious. There was enough breeze at the higher speeds (which for me is 80-85k) to keep us comfortable. The sun was beautiful and day absolutely gorgeous. We quickly racked up 100 kilometers during our backroads ride. I led the way and chose to go up and down every pretty, tree-lined small country road we could find.
We shared the road with lots of other bikers enjoying the day and their ride. Some were in groups and some were solo. Whatever you were doing on Sunday, I hope it was awesome too.
** note: 85K with tiny 10 inch wheels is not for the faint of heart... heheheh **
